second tutorial in less than 12 hours
I'm on a roll here.

We're going from  to
I'm using PSP7, it should be transferable.

I started with this picture from Kristen Bell Online. I cropped it and resized it until I got this.

Sharpen it twice

Take the Retouch Tool >> Soften (Opacity 40 size 3) and go over her skin. I find it easier if I zoom in.

Because it looks a bit too dark for me, Duplicate the base and set the Duplicated layer to 'Screen' Opacity 50. This will depend on your image.

Now create a new layer and fill it in with a dark blue. Set it to Exclusion at Opacity 50.

Now take this light texture by One. Paste it as a new layer and set it to 'Screen'

Make a new layer and fill it in with a light pink. Set this to 'Soft Light'

Now Duplicate the base and drag it to the top. Set that as Screen.

Duplicate the base again, drag it to the top and set it to Burn Opacity 30.

Merge all, add some tinytext, and you're all done!

Any questions, ask me :)

in psp x (10) it's one of the blend mode choices, along with darken, lighten, dissolve, exclusion, etc under layers>properties...dunno if that helps

heh most people dont...it's from family guy, there's this scene where the town is choosing a theme for their parade & they've tied little papers with people's suggestions to the legs of a bunch of birds & charlton heston is there to shoot one of the birds as they fly up & whichever he shoots that theme will be the winner, so, instead of saying 'let my people go' as he did when he played moses in the ten commandments, he says let my pigeons go & they open the cage...yeah ok i couldnt have described that worse

ive also come to realise that my spelling of the word pigeon (with a 'd') is not the norm (i think it's spelled my way when it's a proper name) but shrug, no one seems to notice but me

Nggh.

I don't even know when Family Guy is on now.

I still remember the last episode I watched, where the chick (I forget names really easily) dyed her hair this weird colour and lalal. To cut a long story short, she became a stripper/pole dancer and then she gets kicked out because her parents love her again ...
